6 Questions For Chelsea Korka |
Posted by Jerrica l 26 Aug 2009 |
Chelsea Korka and The Paradiso Girls Chelsea is a singer from Cooper City, Florida who competed in The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll’. While she finished third on the show, she was promptly hired by Robin Antin to join a new pop / hip hop group called the Paradiso Girls. Chelsea held the title of Miss West Broward USA in 2007, is a self described nerd tomboy, and is of Hungarian descent. Today she is featured in Six Questions: 1) Who is your favorite Athlete? I don’t really have one, but my favorite teams are the Lakers and Buffalo Bills. I also love surfing and skateboarding! 2) Who is your favorite Hottie? Angelina Jolie 3) Who is your favorite Comedian? Either Katt Williams or Dane Cook 4) What is your favorite Movie? I love too many movies, I am a movie junkie, but some of my favorites are Mallrats, A Goofy Movie, Romeo&Juliet(with Leo), SuperBad, X-Men, Weird Science, ….and SO many more! 5) What is your favorite Gadget? Da-dada-Da Inspector Gadget! Haha, sorry; Umm I don’t know if you would consider it a gadget, but I always have a disposable camera with me and I just love taking as many pictures as possible everyday! 6) What is your favorite beer? Corona or Asahi Chelsea is the only American in the group, which includes four other young ladies; Aria from France, Lauren Bennett from United Kingdom, Kelly Beckett from Barbados and Shar Mae Amor from Philippines. They are currently signed to Will.i.am music group/Interscope Records. Their debut single “Patron Tequila” featuring Lil’ Jon and Eve was released on May 12, 2009, and has reached position 3 on Billboard Hot Dance Club Play. Their debut album Crazy Horse is expected to be released in October. CREDITS: GUXANIN.COM

MTV Buzzworthy Blog |

MTV Buzzworthy talks about Chelsea in their new blog post. If the sexified hair and glasses didn't convey this already, LMFAO's Sky Blu has some serious good taste: In the group's new video, "La La La," inspired by the late John Hughes, Redfoo, with some intense keyboard tappage, programs the ultimate "virtual woman" experience, Weird Science-style; and Sky Blu chooses Chelsea Korka from The Paradiso Girls (that's my girl!) for his first go-around. Overall, the video's a hilarious composite of '80s concepts of the future, in all their neon pixelated glory. For the uninitiated, I would describe LMFAO as a cross between Chromeo and Brett and Jemaine from Flight of The Conchords. The late John Hughes inspired the LMFAO "La La La" video, and in a strange and sad turn of events, Redfoo and Sky Blu actually spoke to MTV's Tim Kash about their Weird Science concept, unknowingly, on the day Hughes died. Also, point of contention: Chelsea's look lends itself to more of a '90s feel than an '80s look -- girl is channeling some straight-up Kelly Kapowski from Saved By The Bell. You can see it, right? That is straight hotness, Chels. (And the booty shake? To think Robin Antin said you couldn't dance...)
